CHF ~ 16 new backgrounders

Lisa Strahl, Art Director at Cornish Heritage Farms is turning 30 tomorrow!!!!! Happy Birthday Lisa!!!!

Lisa has amazingly designed ANOTHER 16 fantastic backgrounder stamps to add to the CHF collection.

Tomorrow, 1st December, CHF is having a " Birthday Bash" on their forum with new challenges every hour from 10am to 10pm EST. Each challenge is hosted by a Design Team member and I have the honour of hosting the final hour of the day at 10pm so please visit if you get time and play along.

As you may know, Cornish Heritage Farms stocks the Thomas Kinkade line of stamps which are stunning.
If you look closely you can have a sneak peek at one of the new backgrounders, "MINI TRIANGLES" which is stamped here in coral from Colorbox queue ink padsl. I stamped the image in black and coloured with Prismacolor pencils, highlighting with yellow and fruit punch stickles. The main image is "Village Christmas".

The coral ribbon, two tone ribbon and "Merry Christmas" satin ribbon are all from Mayarts. I like how soft and pretty it feels.

This is my first attempt at stamping on candles!!! Easier than I thought. First, stamp the image onto white tissue paper and colour with Prismacolor pencils. Next trim the tissue paper close to the image. Place the image where you want it on your candle and cover the image with waxed paper, waxed side against the candle. Heat with a heat gun until the image bonds to the candle and before the candle starts to run!!!!

Finish with ribbons and stickle. The gold ruffled edge ribbon and black organza are Mayarts.

the fruitpunch on the card looks so delicious in combination with the yellow, WOW. Too cool.
The candle is very pretty, I have not had much luck with candles, I *think* my heat gun is too hot :( the candle melts pretty much right away and I'm left with a blobby mess. Maybe have to invest in a real small heat gun and try again, or even a hair dryer on low?
