Rubber Stamp Tapestry launched some new peg sets at CHA last week and I had the pleasure of playing with them pre-show! Here are some cards using one of my favourite sets, "Blue Eden". These colours look so pearlescent and sparkly in real life. These aren't on their site as yet so I thought I'd share another sneaky peek in advance.
The papers, ribbon and buttons are all Basic Grey "mellow" range and I love them.
"Bloom" is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry also, their clear "Word plate 2" set which is so versatile.
Inks: Brilliance pearlescent rust, coffee bean and Versamagic Turquoise gem.
Copper and turqoise stickles. Corner rounder punch for the scalloped edges.
Well I've spent the day at the NEC and managed to watch Tim Holtz in action. I got to attend 2 classes and got to use the Cricut Expression machine but I can honestly say my style of work does not need a Cricut. Give me stamps and inks any day!!
I did have lots of fun playing with the new Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders before setting up our stand. Our stand is very basic due to the fact that we couldn't carry lots as we flew from Belfast to Birmingham and also as I am in the "Bright Sparks" section I only have 3 m square to play with!!
We had fun spotting all the faces from Create and Craft - some we know by name like Glenda from Graphicus and some by face only! Wendy Rhodes is a couple of stands from us.
I'll try and share some pics tomorrow.
