RST ~ Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm a little sad today as my laptop is leaving for a repair (I hope!). They've promised a 3 day turnaround, so fingers crossed as some of my photo-shopped photos are still on it ready for blogging.
I think the little port that my AC adapter fits into is faulty or the actual AC adapter itself as it won't work off the mains and I can't recharge my battery.
My other AC adapters don't fit so I can't check that.
So I'm back on my old PC that the kids use lately and it is a little slower so bear with me.

I thought I'd share a couple of cards with you that started out purely as little oval panels with absolutely no thought to what the designer paper choice or cardstock colour would be! (Not the best way to work I admit!)

Anyhoo, the stamp set is "Fall leaves and acorns" from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and the sentiment is theirs too. I like how you can get such different looks from the same set by tweaking the colours.

Both use the oval and scallop oval nestabilities, dewdrops, Ranger inkssentials white opaque pen and "Mellow" 6 x 6 paper pad by Basic Grey that RST sell also.

Pic 1, ORANGE - other supplies. Brilliance rocket red, Versamagic pumpkin spice, Versamagic mango madness, Versamagic Hint of pesto.

Pic 2, PURPLE - other supplies. Versamagic eggplant, Versacolour green tea, Versamagic mango madness. Corner rounder from SU and ribbon by Mayarts.

Technology sure has us whipped! I could NOT live without my laptop, but thankful we have a backup PC as well. I feel for you Amanda, hope they're super speedy, and you get it back ready to go! I almost forgot ... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these cards. Love how you stamped the leave on the corners of the dp. I actually thought you made the dp for the purple card ... it goes so well. TFS ... looking forward to more!

Amanda, your cards are so warm and cheerful too! I have 3 or 4 of these sets and just never think to use them. After seeing these I am going to put them on my work space.

Mandy I love these cards! I wish I had copies of them for my show display. If you happen to still have them I would love to purchase them.
